There are two classifications in the world: rhodomyrtus tomentosa (airton) hassk, possibly in Southern India, Sri Lanka.
The second classification is the same as in my advertisement picture (rhodomyrtus tomentosa var. tomentosa), original in Southeast Asia and Southern China. Its leaves have soft white hair underneath, while the classification in India and Sri Lanka has cream or yellow hair.
The tree height is only 1 to 4 meters, small and branched, with soft hairy leaves, buds, and fruits.
This is a wild plant, beautiful in appearance, creating a landscape chain on the island of Hawaii, America.
It grows by itself in the forest, near trees or villages, mostly in sandy soil, and on the seaside up to 1300 meters from the sea, and mostly near the sea.
