Nikon F-401 old film camera
New in its packaging, unused
Nikon F-401 camera equipped with a Nikkor AF 35-70mm f/3.3-4.5 lens.
The Nikon F-401 is a 35mm single-lens reflex (SLR) film camera, suitable for beginners, equipped with autofocus, produced by Nikon, and released in 1987. This camera represented one of Nikon's first attempts in the field of autofocus for consumers, as a complement to the first autofocus SLR camera it launched in 1986, the Nikon F-501.
The built-in exposure meter facilitates photography. The camera is designed for films with speeds ranging from ISO 25 to ISO 5000. The film speed is read by the DX code on the film cartridge in the camera. As with most SLR cameras, exposure is measured through the lens. The aperture and shutter speed are automatically adjusted and cannot be changed. The photographer can freely adjust the aperture and shutter speed.
The "Bulb" mode can be used for long exposures, and the shutter remains open for the desired duration. The built-in flash can be used in low-light conditions, and an external flash can be connected via the "Hot Shoe" port. The 35mm camera comes with a tripod socket wire
Menu, and also has a built-in self-timer.
