The Ministry of Defense (Central Admissions Committee) announces the opening of admission and registration for joining the military service for the academic year (1448 AH) for high school graduates as follows:
Admission Requirements:
- The applicant must be of Saudi origin, upbringing, and birth (with an exception for those born and raised with their father abroad due to work, study, or vacation, provided proof is submitted, and they do not hold a passport and nationality of the country where they were born).
- Must have good conduct and character, and not have been convicted of a Sharia penalty or a crime involving dishonor or dishonesty.
- Must hold a general secondary school certificate from the Ministry of Education (regular daytime study) in Natural Sciences specialization only for all colleges, and must be a graduate of this year. Graduates from previous years are not accepted.
- The cumulative percentage in the secondary school certificate must not be less than (80%) for the scientific specialization.
- Must have taken the General Aptitude Test and obtained a score of not less than (60%).
- Must have taken the Achievement Test and obtained a score of not less than (60%).
- Must have taken the Competency Test.
- The applicant's age must not be less than (17) years and not more than (22) years.
- Must pass the medical examination (initial and final) as well as the personal interview.
- The applicant must be unmarried.
- Height and weight must be proportionate, with a minimum of (165cm – 52kg) and a maximum of (188cm – 95kg).
- No medical examination report other than that issued by the Medical Committee affiliated with the Central Committee for the Admission of Military College Students will be accepted. Medical examination results are final, and the student has no right to request a re-examination or to know the reasons for medical unfitness.
- Must pass the comprehensive admission tests and physical fitness tests, and pass the special aptitude tests for colleges that require them.
Benefits for Accepted Students:
- The college the student joins will provide the necessary study supplies during the study period.
- All necessary military uniforms will be provided to enrolled students during the study period.
- All military colleges have dining halls that offer three free meals.
- The college the student joins will provide treatment at its affiliated clinic or at one of the Armed Forces hospital branches during the study period or during academic breaks and holidays.
- The student will receive a monthly bonus equivalent to half the basic monthly salary of a lieutenant for the entire study period at the college.
- The duration of study in military colleges is 3 years, with two semesters per year. After graduation, the student receives a Bachelor's degree in Military Sciences. Graduating students will be appointed with the rank of lieutenant in accordance with the Officers' Service Law and its executive regulations regarding ranks and titles.

- When registering, the fields for aptitude and achievement test scores can be left blank if not currently available, as they will be updated automatically later by the National Center for Measurement.
