BioGreen 12-40-12 is a foliar fertilizer enhanced with concentrated seaweed extract, rich in phosphorus, which promotes flowering and fruit set. Its formula is rich in phosphorus, dissolves completely in water, and is used to treat and prevent phosphorus deficiency in plants. It is enhanced with a natural biostimulant and nutrient extracted from seaweed (Ascophyllum nodosum).
Its unique formula efficiently provides phosphorus during the early growth stages of the plant, contributing to the activation of root growth and development, as well as vegetative growth. The formula also contains a balanced set of trace elements, including copper, iron, zinc, and manganese, in chelated form (EDTA), in addition to boron and molybdenum in soluble salt form.
The formula contains the following ratios:
Nitrogen: 12%
Phosphorus: 40%
Potassium: 12%
Magnesium: 2%
Sulfur: 1.6%
Seaweed (Ascophyllum nodosum): 3%
This formula can be used with all methods of applying soluble fertilizers, whether through drip irrigation systems, center pivots, or others. It can also be used as a foliar spray, ensuring the pH of the solution does not drop below 4.
Usage recommendations depend on the crop type, its age, planting density, and other factors. This fertilizer can be added during different growth stages, with varying rates. It is advisable to conduct small-scale trials before main application to ensure optimal results.
When spraying on leaves, it is best to do so in the early morning or evening for optimal nutrient absorption and to avoid damage from high temperatures. A final concentration not exceeding 10 g/L of water is recommended, and spraying can be repeated 3 to 4 times during the season.
When used in drip irrigation, it can be applied during the first growth stage at a rate of 0.5-0.8 g/L of irrigation water (equivalent to 50-80 ppm), and during the fruiting stage at a rate of 0.8-2 g/L of irrigation water (equivalent to 80-200 ppm).
When used via center pivot, a general rate of 10-7 kg/hectare/application is recommended. It can be mixed with most soluble fertilizers and pesticides, and it is advisable to conduct a compatibility test on a small area before main application.
Note that these are general recommendations, and specific details of each crop's cultivation and local environmental conditions must be taken into account.
