The content consists of two books titled (The History of the Jews and Neighboring Peoples), published in 1728 AD.
The work is authored by (Humphrey Prideaux), who lived from 1648 to 1724 AD. He was a Cornish clergyman and Orientalist, and Dean of Norwich from 1702.
The books were printed in Amsterdam by (Henri de Souze) and consist of a first and second volume.
The books have 362 and 424 pages respectively, with foldable maps (charts/diagrams) representing Palestine, Babylon, the Temple of Jerusalem, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Syria... (There is a tear in the diagram of the Temple of Jerusalem).
The books are in French, and the covers are made of genuine leather, in good condition despite their age of approximately 300 years.
