Rare Abbasid coin, extremely rare, classified as RRRRR, the highest level of rarity. Struck in Mecca in the year 204 AH. This was the first year that Meccan coins were struck during the reign of the Abbasid Caliph Al-Ma'mun, and under the governor Muhammad bin Al-Afrikan. A piece of Islamic history, one of a kind, graded by the American NGC company as Extremely Fine, which is the highest level of very good quality, noting the presence of environmental damage. The coin has an outer layer of patina that can be cleaned normally by polishing, but it has been graded as it was found in the ground, with its dirt and dust.
