One kilogram of Blue Panic seeds. Product of Qassim. Blue Panic is a perennial grass that lives for more than 10 years. It is a strong, fast-growing green fodder plant. Its stems reach a height of 2.5 meters. It tolerates drought and water salinity, loves high temperatures, and does not require fertilization. It is suitable for cultivation in all lands. It does not cause bloat in livestock when eaten green. The first harvest is about 40 days after germination, leaving about 15 cm of stubble during harvesting. Harvesting should be done at the beginning of flowering. The plant should not be left until the end of flowering, as in this case, the stems and leaves become unpalatable to the animal (delaying harvest results in hard stems), thus reducing the digestibility of the fodder.
