A set of paper currencies from the State of Iraq during the rule of President Saddam Hussein, during the economic blockade on Iraq and its prevention from issuing currencies in Switzerland and elsewhere.
The currencies were printed locally in Iraq and are official and original issues, but they lack watermarks and security features. However, each currency has a serial number, and these currencies are called blockade or emergency currencies.
Details of the currencies are in the picture.
The collection includes various denominations of "emergency dinars" or local issues printed inside Iraq during the blockade period:
25 Dinars: The top note featuring Arabian horses, known as the horse print.
1 Dinar, Half Dinar, and Quarter Dinar: These are the small denominations that were widely circulated and are characterized by their brown, purple, and light green colors.
