# SCOPE OF WORK – IRON ORE TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
## 1. General Description
The supplier is committed to providing land transportation services for iron ore from the specified loading points (Jeddah / Yanbu / Sohar – Sultanate of Oman) to the unloading site in Jubail – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The supplier shall be fully responsible for providing all necessary resources to carry out the work, including (but not limited to):
- Dump trucks
- Drivers
- Fuel and consumables
- Permits and licenses
- Operational supervision and management
All work must be performed with high efficiency and in compliance with the regulations and laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

## 2. Scope of Services
- Transporting iron ore from loading points to the unloading site.
- Adhering to agreed-upon delivery schedules.
- Maintaining the safety of the shipment throughout the transportation period.

## 3. Dump Truck Requirements
The supplier commits to the following:
- The dump truck must not be older than 10 years.
- All dump trucks must be in excellent and safe technical condition.
- Dump trucks must be equipped with:
- Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)
- Fire extinguisher
- First-aid kit
- Warning triangle
- Install a GPS tracking system on all dump trucks.
- Provide high-quality covers (tarpaulins) to fully cover the load.
- Comply with regulations related to weights and dimensions within the Kingdom.
- Do not use third-party dump trucks without prior approval.

## 4. Driver Requirements
- Valid driving license within the Kingdom.
- Commitment to wearing safety equipment:
- Safety shoes
- Helmet
- Reflective vest
- Gloves
- Ability to read road signs.
- Basic English language proficiency.

## 5. Operational Staff
The supplier commits to providing:
- Site supervisor (available 24/7)
- Operations manager
- Safety officer
- Local coordinator (preferably Saudi)

## 6. Operational Requirements
- Transport the shipment with the same dump truck from loading to unloading.
- Transferring the load to another dump truck is prohibited without prior approval.
- Transporting any other materials with the shipment is prohibited.
- Adherence to the delivery plan and schedule.

## 7. Safety and Responsibility
- The supplier is responsible for the shipment from the time of loading until delivery.
- Immediate reporting of any incident with a detailed report.
- Taking necessary measures to protect the shipment in case of emergency.

## 8. Coverage and Protection
- The load must be fully covered using a high-quality tarpaulin.
- The supplier bears full responsibility for any damage resulting from improper covering.
- Fines may be imposed for non-compliance.

## 9. Documentation and Delivery
- A Delivery Note must be issued for each shipment.
- Sign the document upon loading and unloading.
- No payment is due without approved proof of delivery.
- Retain records for at least two years.

## 10. Performance and Delay
- Any delay in delivery is considered a breach of performance.
- Discounts or fines may be applied depending on the situation.

## 11. Pricing and Payment
- Pricing will be per trip or per ton (to be determined later).
- Prices include all operational costs and insurance.
- Payment will be made within 60 days from the invoice date.

## 12. Insurance
- Insurance must be provided covering:
- Loss
- Total or partial damage
- With a value of not less than 110% of the shipment value.

## 13. General Conditions
- The supplier must comply with all regulations and laws in the Kingdom.
- The supplier bears all operational risks.
- The right to reject any dump truck or supplier not meeting the requirements is reserved.
