Lantana is a shrub that can reach a height of 3 meters, cultivated for several purposes including: as a hedge, for its fragrant scent, and its beautiful flowers which are clusters of dome-shaped flowers numbering up to 30 multi-colored flowers. There are several types of it (camara, and among them several varieties such as: “Nivea, Mesta, Mutabilis, Crucea, Sangunea” and Celloiana, and Salviifolia) and there is a dwarf type that does not exceed 1.5 meters in height, native to hot regions of America. It tolerates hot and harsh climates; therefore, its cultivation is successful in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (camara type).
