Rare Hebrew Antique Manuscript

3,000
A rare ancient manuscript in Hebrew. This manuscript is from the Passover Haggadah, specifically the Kiddush section. It contains the Jewish instructions for the beginning of Passover when it falls on a Friday night (Sabbath). Sabbath Introduction (Yom HaShishi): The text begins at the top (The sixth day. And the heavens were completed...) which are verses from the Book of Genesis (13) recited during the Friday night service. The main text is written in Hebrew, but the smaller instructional text is in Yiddish. A similar document exists in the Hebrew Museum in Sabbioneta, Italy. The exact age of the document is not entirely known, but it may be from the 16th century AD, as similar printed Hebrew pages from the same period have been found. The paper is handmade with general yellowing due to natural oxidation and slight loss in the corners, without any ornamentation, gilding, or geometric border, suggesting that the manuscript was part of a ritual use copy for reading and religious contemplation. Manuscript dimensions with frame: 21x27 cm. The manuscript has been appraised, according to the attached report, and its price ranges between $600 to $1100, which is approximately 2250 SAR to 4125 SAR. Therefore, the asking price for the manuscript is 3000 SAR. Please bid via private message. You can check my page for similar advertisements of rare and heritage items.
