A French military historical document dated 30/01/1718 AD, titled "Memorandum in the form of a list regarding the supply of troops" specifying how food was managed for the French forces led by Marshal Duke de Villars.
(Claude Louis Hector de Villars), a French soldier and diplomat, born on May 8, 1653, in Millac (Kingdom of France), and died on June 17, 1734, in Turin (Kingdom of Sardinia). He held the position of Marshal of France (1702), Duke of France (1705), Peer of France (1709), and President of the War Council (1715-1718), and was promoted in 1733 to the rank of General Marshal of the King's Camps and Armies.
