Design: All these denominations share a unified design featuring the coat of arms of Uzbekistan on the obverse, and the Sher-Dor Madrasah in Registan Square, Samarkand on the reverse. Current Status: These banknotes are demonetized and no longer legal tender, as they were replaced by the new Som in 1994 at a rate of 1000 old Som to 1 new Som.
