To the one whose heart is filled with mercy, and to every living being with a moist liver.. I write to you with tears preceding words, in the vicinity of the city of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and on this blessed night, Monday, the 27th of Ramadan. We are in the most hopeful nights of the year, a night that might be "Laylat al-Qadr" (the Night of Decree), a night when angels and the Spirit descend, a night when no supplicant is turned away, so how about one who seeks mercy for a weak creature? Before us is a "trust" that has no control over its own affairs.. a weak cat, ravaged by hunger and exhaustion, looking at us with withered eyes, begging for a morsel of food or a drop of safety. Imagine its state in this city whose Prophet ﷺ taught us that "a woman entered the Fire because of a cat," so what about one who saves it on Laylat al-Qadr in the land of the Messenger of Allah? O people of goodness.. O people of generosity in the city of generosity: This soul is groaning in silence, it has no voice to ask, nor a hand to search. It is now in urgent and dire need of (food, water, and care) very urgently. Time is passing, and every minute of delay adds to its suffering. "The merciful will be shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Be merciful to those on earth, and the One in heaven will be merciful to you." I implore you with every letter in the Quran revealed on this night, and with every prayer raised in the Noble Prophet's Mosque, not to leave this cat suffering alone. Whoever can help, whoever possesses a living heart, whoever wishes for Allah to grant them the reward of freeing a slave on this great night, let them contact me immediately. I beg you, do not ignore the message.. this cat might be your gateway to Paradise, and saving it might be the deed for which Allah forgives all your sins. I am waiting for you now.. Help, help, O people of the city.
