The XL1S features the exclusive XL lens interchange system, which allows, in addition to interchangeable video lenses, the use of a wide range of Canon EF lenses for EOS 35mm cameras when using an optional EF adapter. This system enables users to choose the most suitable lens for each shooting situation, regardless of the purpose, application, or shooting conditions. A number of new features have been added to the XL1S based on suggestions from XL1 users, allowing for greater creative expression. The custom preset feature allows users to activate their preferred image control settings, while custom keys provide easy access to frequently used or preferred menu features. This model also features improved white balance, zebra pattern level, and gain control functions for enhanced performance and ease of use.
