A very special historical piece knife, produced by the company Friedr. Herder Abr. Sohn, one of the oldest and most prestigious knife manufacturers in Solingen, Germany, known globally as the "City of Blades".
This knife is distinguished by the presence of two historically registered trademarks of this company:
"Ace of Spades" symbol (Pik As): The inverted "black spade" shape (Pik As) engraved on the blade and also present as a brass rivet on the handle. This trademark was officially registered in 1727 AD, making it one of the oldest registered trademarks in Germany.
Crossed Keys: Above the name appears the symbol of the crossed keys, another trademark historically used by the company.
Metal: The blade is made of Carbon Steel.
Handle: Natural wood secured with brass rivets, one of which bears the company's distinctive trademark.
This is an "antique" piece representing old German quality. The Herder company is known for its famous "Constant" trademark, it is the finest carbon blades that last for decades.
