This giant vase with its navy blue color is produced by the glass factory for antiques in Dammam. It is a testament to a Saudi industry that has disappeared and fallen from memory 🥺 The factory was established in 1979 and closed in 1981, due to changing tastes and the invasion of markets by cheap East Asian antiques. This information is perhaps known only to us, and if we hadn't found these antiques, they might have been lost to history. However, credit must be given where it is due.
