* Rosary "Bone with Howlite" Egyptian work
*Material*:
1. *Blue Beads*: Turquoise-dyed howlite, with white bone inlay/plating in the form of lines and dots. Not natural turquoise
2. *White Beads*: Natural cow bone
3. *Tassel*: Silver-plated metal, not silver
*Craftsmanship*: Handmade "bone inlay" work, famous in Syria and Egypt. They call it "inlaid turquoise with bone" or "Damascus work". Modern 2010-2025.
*Signs of Craftsmanship*:
- The white lines and dots are evidence of manual bone inlay, not printing
- Each bead takes a long time for inlay, which increases its price compared to plain howlite
- Bright blue color = dyed, natural is darker and calmer
*Approximate Price*: *450 - 900 Saudi Riyals*
More expensive than plain howlite due to the tiring manual inlay work. If the tassel were silver, it would reach 1,100 Riyals.
