3 types of floating plants
The container is 20 riyals and is enough for a 40 cm tank.
Now, for a limited time, it has become free.
1. Salvinia (Salvinia minima/natans)
These are plants that appear with round or oval leaves covered with very small hairs that give them a velvety appearance (clearly visible in the middle right of the second image). These hairs act as a protective layer that prevents the leaves from sinking or getting wet.
2. Duckweed (Lemna minor)
These are very small, light green plants with small individual leaves that fill the gaps between larger plants. This plant grows at an incredible speed and is considered excellent for absorbing excess nitrates in the water.
3. Red Root Floater (Phyllanthus fluitans)
It can be distinguished by leaves that tend to be reddish-brown or dark green (more clearly visible in the lower left part of the first image). What distinguishes this type is that its roots become bright red under strong lighting, and sometimes the leaves themselves turn completely red.
