By the grace, generosity, and success of Allah, we have produced new organic wheat of Ma'eyah, premium grain, from my farm. Very limited quantity. 🌾 A marketing and educational announcement about the production of organic local wheat 🌾 🗒📊 Its features, disadvantages, health benefits, and the difference between it and hybrid wheat varieties like American and others. 🗒📊 🌾🌟 Firstly / Local wheat has many varieties and is widespread in the regions of the Kingdom. Its characteristics include low yield compared to hybrid varieties grown in the same area, so its production is not available in large quantities like hybrid varieties. But this shortage is compensated by several beneficial features: 1) Low gluten content in local varieties. This is a colloidal protein responsible for dough consistency. Its low content makes the bread light on the stomach, easy to digest and utilize. According to the analyses I have reviewed for local varieties of gluten, Ma'eyah wheat is characterized by approximately 6.5% gluten, unlike hybrid varieties which can reach up to 34%. 2) High total protein content in local varieties, unlike hybrid varieties. 3) Local varieties are more resistant to agricultural pests, so the need for harmful chemical pesticides is reduced. 🚜🌾 Secondly / Our organic cultivation of Ma'eyah local wheat: ✅ We use organic fertilizers before and during cultivation ✅ ❌ Chemical and mineral fertilizers give better results in increasing plant productivity, but they are an unhealthy choice for the consumer and the soil in the long term ❌ ✅ With tiring physical effort, we manually start after planting until harvest to remove useless and harmful weeds that compete with wheat for water and nutrients, and whose seeds interfere with harvesting ✅ ❌ There are herbicides for broadleaf weeds and narrow-leaf weeds, each with a specific herbicide for its type and a spraying schedule that relieves the farmer and gives effective results in weed control, but they are an unhealthy choice for the consumer and the soil ❌ ✅ By the grace of Allah, we have not needed and do not use chemical pesticides to control insects ✅ ❌ As is customary, the field is sprayed with chemical insecticides preventively before infestation and then gives excellent results in control, but it is an unhealthy choice for the consumer and the soil ❌ ✅ By the grace of Allah, we have not needed and do not use fungicides for the plant ✅ ❌ Chemical fungicides are sprayed preventively before or after infestation, giving excellent and effective results, but it is an unhealthy choice for the consumer and the soil ❌ 🏆🏵 Finally, it is strenuous physical effort and financially costly, but praise be to Allah, the result is good and healthy.
