I bought a plate very recently, less than a month ago, and transferred it to my car without any issues. After that, I traveled to Kuwait, and the plate incurred fines there. They refused to let me leave until I paid them, and I paid an amount three times the value of the plate. After that, I inquired about some Gulf countries through the Ministry of Interior website for each country. I discovered 7 violations in Bahrain as well. And Qatar alone has a fine of 27,000 riyals.
