In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Does the gear feel like it's delaying? Or is there a clunk between gears?
So why does this problem happen in the Chevrolet Impala?
📌 The question that is always repeated to us:
"Is the problem programming or overhaul?"
The reality?
Most Impala cases come to us due to wear of the internal clutches or low oil pressure in the transmission.
And this is usually due to:
* Delaying transmission oil change
* Using the wrong oil
* High heat with prolonged use
The problem here is not just a jolt and you're on your way...
If ignored, the transmission will start to slip or get stuck in a gear, and then you'll face higher costs.
So what do we do at the workshop?
* Computer scan + transmission oil pressure test
* Remove the oil pan and check the oil condition (is it burnt? metal shavings?)
* Determine if the problem is programming, valve body, or requires a complete overhaul
If an overhaul is needed:
We work on:
* Replacing all clutches
* Overhauling the valve body
* Complete cleaning of oil passages
* Using original parts + specialized oil
⏱ Work duration: 3 to 5 days
📌 Inspection before and after work to ensure the transmission is 100% back to normal
And regarding the price?
It will be determined after inspection based on the transmission's condition, and it will include disassembly and reassembly without surprises.
