Made from cypress or spruce wood, the preferred wood for the oud's face as it provides high resonance and a pure sound. Soundholes (Qamariyat): It has three soundholes (one large in the center and two small ones), which help the sound to exit and be amplified. We notice here that they are simple without complexly decorated "sunshades", giving it a modern character. 2. Technical Features Strings: The oud is equipped with 11 strings (5 double strings and a single string at the top called the "bass"). Neck (Zand): The oud's neck appears to be of medium length, with a delicate floral inlay extending from the beginning of the neck towards the large soundhole, adding an artistic aesthetic touch without affecting performance. Pegs (Mafateeh): Made of wood (often ebony or rosewood), they appear classic for tuning. Plectrum (Risha): A colored plastic "plectrum" (in a shell or tartaruga pattern) is shown between the strings at the nose, which is the primary tool for playing. The price has been reduced to 400 for a quick sale due to no longer needing it.
