From Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
"The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, and in both of them there is good. Be keen on what benefits you, seek help from Allah, and do not be disabled. If something befalls you, do not say: 'If I had done such and such,' but say: 'Allah has decreed, and what He wills He will do.' For 'if' opens the door for the devil."
Sahih Muslim: (2664)
• Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
"So if you do what is incumbent upon you of being keen on what is beneficial, seeking help from Allah, and being steadfast in the matter, and then things go wrong, you will not be blamed; and at that point, entrust the matter to Allah.
