▪ The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is no day more virtuous in the sight of Allah than the Day of Arafah, which is ten days (of Dhul-Hijjah). No month is more virtuous in the sight of Allah than it, and no day is more virtuous in the sight of Allah than the Day of Arafah. It is a day on which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood and prayed, and it is a day on which the people of the Kaaba performed their rituals. And it is a day on which Allah descended to the nearest heaven, and He boasted of them to the people of the earth. And it is a day on which Allah freed many of you from the Fire, and it is a day on which He gave you what He gave you." ▪ That [He has ordained it].
