3 archaeological scientific volumes titled (The British Museum or Elegant Repository of Natural History) by authors (William Holloway + John Branch), published in 1803 and 1804 in English. These are volumes 2 to 4 only, and volume 1 is missing.
The books are fully leather-bound with gilded lettering on the cover and show signs of use as illustrated, with some loss of leather, marks, scratches, and peeling. All edges. Each volume contains an additional engraved title page and a printed title. The pages are complete and include 101 hand-colored plates.
Volume 2 is dedicated to explanations of quadruped animals.
Volume 3 is dedicated to explanations of fish and insects.
Volume 4 is dedicated to explanations of birds.
There is slight yellowing due to age and some small marks, but otherwise, the pages are generally clean as shown.
The asking price per volume is 1250 SAR, and the price for all volumes is 3500 SAR.
