I have an axle that was installed on a Ford Explorer. But it also often fits the Taurus and Edge because they have the exact same body. Honestly, the axle is sound, with no tears in the rubber boots or grease leaks. However, it started making a light clicking sound during turns, but it didn't affect driving, nor was there any shaking or other issues, and I decided to replace it.
