A rare antique painting (Virgin Mary and Child) from the 16th century, from the Italian Ferrara school. An exceptional museum piece dating back to the late 16th century (Late Renaissance / Early Baroque), executed in the style of the old Italian painter (Appolito Scarsella). The painting was initially exhibited and examined by experts from the renowned French auction house in Paris, Tajan SA. Their initial official valuation for the painting ranged between 8,000 Euros to 12,000 Euros (approximately equivalent to 32,000 to 48,000 Riyals), as attached, with the possibility of final documented examination upon sending it to their headquarters in Paris. Subject: A classical depiction of (Virgin Mary and Child Jesus with the infant St. John the Baptist). Material: Oil on original copper panel (Oil on Copper), which gives it a color depth and luster that has remained constant through the centuries. Frame: Gilded and hand-decorated with raised carvings from the luxurious Italian Renaissance era. Overall dimensions (with frame): 30 x 26.5 cm, internal copper panel dimensions: 19 x 15 cm. The painting is in its stable, original antique condition, with natural age-related oxidation and craquelure that add to its authenticity. It has not undergone any modern restoration that would distort its historical value. Sale of this piece has been halted due to its submission to an international auction house.
