Published by the renowned British publishing house (Cassell, Petter, & Galpin) - London and New York, approximately from 1860-1870 (Victorian era - 19th century). Size and Weight: Large royal size (Length 32 cm x Width 24 cm), 1507 full pages (including Old and New Testaments with separate title pages + index). Luxurious Features of the Edition (Royal Specifications): Antique brass clasp, as the book is equipped with a sturdy and original brass clasp that works efficiently and is attached to the leather (very rare to find the clasp complete and undamaged in such books). Contains 990 plates and illustrations, including very rare colored plates printed on stone (Chromolithographs) by Orientalist artists, in addition to detailed maps. Binding is thick, luxurious genuine leather, hand-engraved with raised geometric patterns (Renaissance Revival) with gilt on the edges and page edges (All Edges Gilt).
