Job Announcement Warehouse Keeper

Warehouse Keeper Location: Hail Job Overview We are looking for a warehouse keeper who is accurate, honest, and experienced in managing food warehouses. They will be responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing materials and products, monitoring inventory, and ensuring that storage procedures are followed according to quality and food safety standards. Tasks and Responsibilities * Receiving food and non-food items and verifying their compliance with invoices and purchase orders. * Organizing and arranging the warehouse according to sound storage principles. * Issuing materials to branches and departments only through the approved system. * Monitoring inventory balances and informing management of any shortages or needs. * Conducting daily, periodic, and monthly inventory counts and submitting the necessary reports. * Applying the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) and First-Expired, First-Out (FEFO) systems. * Monitoring expiration dates and ensuring the safety of stored products. * Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse continuously. * Monitoring and documenting refrigerator and freezer temperatures. * Coordinating with the laboratory and branches to meet operational needs. * Immediately reporting waste, spoilage, and inventory discrepancies. * Maintaining all assets and inventory in the warehouse. * Ensuring that no item is issued or received except with approved documentation. * Participating in surprise and periodic inventory counts. Required Qualifications * At least two years of experience in managing food warehouses or restaurants. * Good knowledge of inventory and counting systems. * Proficiency in using computers and warehouse management systems. * Ability to prepare reports and track balances. * High accuracy and responsibility. Preferred Qualifications * Experience in restaurant systems and inventory management. * Knowledge of food safety and food storage requirements. * Experience in handling refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) * Inventory balance accuracy. * Percentage of inventory discrepancies. * Adherence to issuing and receiving procedures. * Accuracy of periodic inventory counts. * Percentage of waste and spoilage. * Speed of fulfilling branch requests. * Adherence to food safety and storage standards. Authorities and Responsibility The warehouse keeper is directly responsible for all items and assets in the warehouse and is liable for any shortage, damage, or loss resulting from negligence or non-compliance with approved procedures.
