Reality and Available Alternatives A message to every seller who exaggerates the price: Look at the market a little before you set your price. Many major furniture stores and brands hold periodic sales and offer seasons, and you can find a new piece with its warranty and shipping for less than what you are asking for your used piece. 2. Be Kind to People's Circumstances The person who goes to buy used furniture, if they had the high amounts you are asking for, they wouldn't have thought of used furniture in the first place, and it would be logical to go for brand new. However, some people's circumstances force them to look for used (clean, of course) to make things easier for themselves. So, do not make people's needs a means for greed and excessive profit. And you know, if someone offers you a price within their means and you get angry and don't settle for more, after a while or at most a day, you might go back to the person who offered you a price within their means and say, 'I sold it to you,' and they won't buy it even if you offer it at a lower price because they might have already bought something else or simply lost interest. Seller, greed spoils trade. How many sellers have turned away a sincere buyer out of greed for an extra two riyals, and in the end, circumstances changed, and they were forced to sell the same item in the marketplace for only 50 or 80 riyals after people devalued it! In conclusion: Leave greed behind, and bless your buying and selling with ease and simplicity, and monitor the prices of new market items before you shock people with the prices of used items.
