Job Title: Restaurant Accountant
Job Objective:
To accurately manage and record all financial operations of the restaurant, ensure the correctness of accounting entries, monitor revenues and expenses, and prepare periodic financial reports to support management in decision-making.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Accurately and regularly record all daily financial operations of the restaurant (sales, purchases, expenses).
• Monitor daily cash flow and reconcile cash and electronic revenues with the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, profits, and expenses.
• Review supplier invoices, ensure their accuracy, and approve them before payment.
• Record and enter data for food and raw material purchases and monitor inventory in coordination with the warehouse department.
• Reconcile petty cash, advances, and operational expenses of the restaurant.
• Prepare journal entries and post them in the approved accounting system.
• Follow up on salaries, wages, and allowances in coordination with Human Resources.
• Prepare tax declarations (such as Value Added Tax) if applicable.
• Ensure compliance with the restaurant's internal financial policies and rationalize expenses.
• Coordinate with management in analyzing costs (Food Cost).
• Archive and maintain financial records and invoices in an organized manner.
