I bought the headlight new in the box about a year ago, and from day one, PPF protection film was applied to it. The car had an accident on the side of the headlight, and the housing was damaged. However, thanks to the protection, the glass did not break. There is only a very minor crack from the bottom (behind the bumper) which is not visible after installation and does not affect water entry or the headlight's functionality. The lens, LED, and all internal parts are original and intact. In short, if you have a sound housing, you can transfer the glass, lens, and lighting to it, and it will look like a new headlight.
