Peace be upon you and welcome everyone. The recorder is in storage. After inspection, I found the counter belt is melted and the capstan roller belts are loose, causing speed and vibration in the sound.
Spare parts were purchased from a specialized European store, original, with a 5-year warranty for all parts, precise to original measurements. I bought rubber idlers and 2 belts.
They do not ship directly to us. I used a US mail forwarding service. The head's bearing has been lubricated and greased, melted belt residue removed, and installation completed. The original rubber idlers and cylinders were cleaned with a special conditioner, and the head was cleaned with an original certified American solution.
Head demagnetization. The tools used are original and shown in the pictures. One of the new rubber idlers I ordered was lost during shipping or customs. One arrived late. The recorder operates smoothly and with high quality.
Nakamichi CR-40, Japanese.
Model 1988 written on the power cord.
120V power line. The recorder's body is made of full copper.
Nakamichi recorders were made to last. The recorder holds its value like gold, original.
Unlike Chinese recorders, even if they are a well-known brand, they come new for around 3000, and after a month of use, they are not worth 500 riyals if put up for sale.
Price: 2500. Comes with a gift of an unused Ugreen headphone adapter and a cleaning tape. Any inquiries are welcome. Please communicate via WhatsApp, no calls or Haraj messages.
