If you are thinking of opening a restaurant, I advise you to focus on these 5 points before you spend the first riyal:
1 Ask yourself why you want to open a restaurant?
Don't enter the field just because people eat every day or because you heard that restaurants are profitable. Know your primary goal.
2 Learn before you invest.
If you can work in the same activity for 6 months or a year, that's excellent. If you can't, conduct a real feasibility study from a consultant who is active in the market, not just on paper.
3 If you have a restaurant to take over and it's in good condition, study it first.
In many cases, taking over saves you more time, effort, and money than starting from scratch.
4 A restaurant's success is not just about the food.
Choose the right location, know who you will sell to, pay attention to management, choose a respectable team, and know your project's numbers before you start.
5 Maintain liquidity and don't rush to profit.
Try to have your personal expenses and project expenses covered for 6 months to a year, because many projects fail even though they are good projects, but they ran out of liquidity before they succeeded.
This is just a simple summary from our experience in the market, and may God grant success to everyone who intends to invest.
