Technical specifications for the thermal oil heating unit
The thermal oil heating unit consists of the following parts:
Heating unit body
Inner cylinder with a diameter of 110 cm and a length of 300 cm.
Outer cylinder with a diameter of 125 cm and a length of 300 cm.
The space between the two cylinders is filled with the thermal oil to be heated.
Combustion chamber
The front of the inner cylinder is sealed with a convex metal sheet designed to direct the flame inside the combustion chamber, ensuring maximum utilization of thermal energy and limiting heat loss with exhaust gases.
Heat transfer coil
The unit is equipped with 2-inch Schedule 40 steel pipes coiled helically inside the combustion chamber.
The outer diameter of the coil is 90 cm, and the inner diameter is 75 cm.
The design aims to increase the heat exchange area between the combustion gases and the thermal oil, thereby increasing heat transfer efficiency and achieving the highest possible utilization of thermal energy.
Thermal insulation.
The heating unit is completely covered with a 5 cm thick layer of compressed rock wool.
A metal outer casing is installed over the insulation to protect the insulation, reduce heat loss, and give the unit a robust appearance.
Burner
The unit is equipped with a burner that operates on the appropriate fuel with a maximum consumption capacity of 40 kg/hour.
Thermal oil pump
A dedicated pump for thermal oils with an operating temperature of up to 360°m.
Equipped with an 11 kW electric motor.
Electrical control panel
An integrated control panel for operating and managing the unit.
Equipped with an oil level sensor, which automatically shuts off the pump when the oil level in the tank drops.
It provides full control over the oil temperature through a thermostat.
Equipped with a pressure switch that automatically shuts off the burner when the required oil pressure is not achieved, providing complete protection for the unit.
Oil expansion and filling tank
A dedicated tank for filling thermal oil and compensating for losses.
It is installed next to the heating unit and at a higher level than it to ensure self-feeding.
Equipped with a sensor to monitor the oil level and send the necessary signals to the control panel to ensure safe operation.
Unit features
High thermal efficiency due to increased heat exchange area.
Optimal utilization of combustion energy and reduction of heat loss.
High-efficiency thermal insulation to reduce fuel consumption.
Integrated protection system including monitoring of oil level, pressure, and temperature.
