Access Evaporator/Filters: It is preferable to remove the AC filter (usually located behind the front passenger glove box) to clean the duct directly and ensure the foam reaches the internal AC radiator (evaporator). Shake and Spray: Shake the can well before use, then attach the plastic tube provided with the spray (if available) and spray the cleaner directly into the air vents (louvers) or into the filter duct until it is filled with foam. Wait: Leave the foam inside the system for 15 to 20 minutes to react with dirt, kill bacteria, and eliminate unpleasant odors. You will notice the foam turn into liquid and exit from the AC drain hole at the bottom of the car. Operate and Ventilate: Open all car doors and windows completely, then start the engine and turn on the AC to the highest fan speed (without turning on the cooling A/C) for 10 minutes to expel any remaining moisture or excess odors before driving.
