Samsung's sixth-generation DVM S2 digital multi-variable flow air conditioner features an outdoor unit for enhanced flexibility and functionality. It can connect with up to 64 Samsung indoor air conditioning units to provide optimal comfort while avoiding annoying cooling levels. This system is compatible with previous models such as: Samsung 1Way, 4Way, 4Way 600x600, and wall-mounted models. The DVM S2 is currently available in Europe and will be available in China in July 2021, with a later rollout in the Middle East, North America, and select Asian markets.
Wider Frequency Range for Better Performance of (WindFree™) Technology
One of the most notable features of the DVM S2 air conditioner is its use of several innovative technologies, including its class-leading advanced scroll compressor, with Advanced Flash Injection technology, the use of an enlarged heat exchanger and improved cooling airflow, a multi-groove fan, and an enhanced power unit.
The Advanced Flash Injection technology allows motor control a wider frequency range from 10 – 180 Hz. With the new low level of 10 Hz (compared to 14 Hz for the previous model), the system is more stable at low frequencies, and provides better performance for (WindFree™) technology for comfortable temperature control. Furthermore, the new high frequency level of up to 180 Hz ensures stronger cooling performance.
Larger Heat Exchanger and Multi-Groove Fan
When comparing models with the same capacity in the current DVM S2 series, the heat transfer area of the heat exchanger in all new models is significantly larger. The unit's hybrid path is designed to optimize refrigerant flow matching the airflow condition. Additionally, the unique multi-groove fan helps reduce air turbulence, along with using different groove matching, considering the air speed at the edges and inside the fan blade, respectively. Furthermore, the high-efficiency insulated bipolar transistor contributes to reducing conductive electricity loss.
The new DVM S2 design features advanced aerodynamic characteristics that ensure quieter operating levels compared to previous generations. The device features a movable frame and a reinforced structure with an improved external cabinet. The cooling operation range and static external pressure have been extended to enhance design flexibility, along with the development of the emergency operation feature. Moreover, the device also uses a built-in inverter check to ensure better maintenance. Due to the advanced technology for controlling the sub-cooling unit and analyzing the installation status using a micro-liquid tube, the amount of additional refrigerant used during installation is reduced by 28% compared to previous versions.
