Fath al-Qadir, the comprehensive compilation of narration and study in the science of Tafsir - New, unopened - Author: Muhammad ibn Ali al-Shawkani - Al-Shawkani's Tafsir Fath al-Qadir (1173-1250 AH) is considered a fundamental source of Tafsir and one of its references, as it combines Tafsir by narration and Tafsir by study. Its author excelled in the narration section and expanded on the study section. He began compiling it in the month of Rabi' al-Akhir in the year 1223 AH.
