In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Regarding selling cats, most people say it is forbidden to sell cats and it is not permissible. Firstly, the Messenger, peace be upon him, forbade the sale of 'sinnior', and 'sinnior' is a type of cat, not the cats we sell. It is completely different from them in size, shape, and ferocity. And Allah knows best. As for why I sell cats, it is because I have other cats and I cannot raise them all, spend on them, and give them vaccinations unless I sell some of them. If Allah blesses me with good sustenance from them, then all praise and thanks are to Him. And do not tell me why you raise cats; this is a personal matter, and I love these animals.
