The Reticulated Python The Reticulated Python is one of the largest and longest snake species in the world, and is known for the following unique characteristics: • Size and Weight: It holds the record as the longest snake in the world, with its length sometimes exceeding 6 to 8 meters, and its weight reaching about 100 kilograms or more. • Pattern and Appearance: It is characterized by stunning geometric reticulated patterns on its skin, with intermingling shades of brown, yellow, and black, giving it excellent camouflage in its environment. • Habitat and Distribution: It inhabits tropical rainforests, rivers, and swamps in Southeast Asia (such as Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines). The snake is about a little over two meters long, completely tame. It has been with me for two years and has never attacked. It is used to being handled by those who understand its care.
