This stone is amber (locally known as Kahraba or Anbar). The rosary displayed in the picture is made of round beads of transparent natural amber stone with a warm honey or apricot color, showing clearly some natural impurities and internal lines characteristic of this organic stone. With decorative spacer beads and a dark blue tassel (tarboosh).
