Water Purifier Filters Maintenance Replacement

Home RO water purifier with a 6-stage system - Aqualife brand The device you have is complete and consists of: 1. The main unit has 3 primary filters (blue at the bottom): • PPF (dark blue on the right): Filter for impurities, sand, and rust - 1st stage • UDF (middle): Granular carbon filter that removes chlorine, taste, and odor • CTO (left): Compressed carbon filter that removes the finest residues of chlorine and organic matter 2. Above them: • Booster Pump: Strengthens water pressure for the membrane to work, and is essential because the home pressure in Saudi Arabia is usually weak • Pressure Gauge: On the left, to know if the filters are clogged • RO Membrane Filter (light blue on top): This is the heart of the device, it removes 95-99% of salts, heavy metals, and bacteria • Post Carbon Filter (white): Improves the final taste after the tank 3. Remaining parts: • Large white tank: Storage tank of approximately 4-5 gallons (12-19 liters), collects purified water • Stainless steel faucet: The special faucet that is installed on the sink This type is labeled Made in Vietnam with an American design, and it is very popular in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf. How does it work? Normal water enters the three filters -> the pump pressurizes it -> it enters the RO membrane -> salts go to the drain, and clean water goes to the tank -> when you open the faucet, it passes through the last carbon filter and comes out. Maintenance: • Stages 1-2-3: every 3-6 months • Post Carbon + Membrane: every 12-24 months depending on the water salinity in your area (Riyadh) • Don't forget to empty the tank every two weeks if you don't use it much
