The SebaKMT Easyloc RX device (manufactured by Megger) is a portable receiver designed for locating and tracing underground buried electrical cables and metal pipes.
Key Features and Uses:
• Primary Function: Used to detect cables and pipelines before excavation work to avoid damaging infrastructure.
• Detection Modes: Supports passive detection of radio frequency signals or active power lines, as well as active search when used with the dedicated Easyloc Tx signal generator.
• Depth Measurement: Helps estimate the depth of buried cables or pipes.
• Actual Measurement Range: The device can accurately measure the depth of buried utilities within a range of 0.1 meters to 5 meters (approximately 1 foot to 16 feet).
• Measurement Mechanism: Depth is determined with a single push-button (Push-button depth) once precisely centered over the buried line.
• Measurement Without Generator: The Easyloc Standard model is capable of measuring depth even in Passive Power Mode without necessarily requiring an active signal generator.
